John is responsible for the overall functioning of 3DG. Hes in charge of the companys overall marketing strategy, sales, and business development across all business lines. He is the “rainmaker.” He also manages the companys finances, does long-term strategic planning, and hires new employees. In his role as business manager, he is dedicated to developing and growing relationships with potential investors and 3DGs development and investment clients.
As the companys lead Realtor®, John actively markets listings throughout the Washington, D.C. area and is the primary real estate agent on all of 3DGs commercial deals for their development clients. He also makes all decisions regarding 3DGs proprietary development projects.
With a background in international finance, accounting, financial analysis, and wealth management, John understands the financial potential of the Washington real estate market. Prior to co-founding 3DG, John worked for one of the nations most prestigious private equity and hedge fund groups, and helped manage multi-million dollar personal portfolios for some of the nation's wealthiest families.
John attended graduate school at Georgetown University and earned a joint degree from the School of Business and the School of Foreign Service, as well as a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from George Mason University. John is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, and is fluent in Spanish.
